Horrible Experience

Month to month or weekly pay option No lease Cashapp payment option Roommate situation
Cons
Huge problem with mail (they don’t give you a mailbox key) Landlord’s sister collects and hoards mail Landlord lives in NJ Landlord is fickle, hot and cold mentality Major cold water and water pressure issue No immediate access to fire escape Nothing is within code standards No lease means verbal agreements can be “forgotten” Problem with receiving deposit upon moving out Horrible COVID-19 understanding
Advice to the owners
Give tenants a mailbox key. Be a man of your word. Don’t be disrespectful to your tenants, especially ones who paid rent early every month.
