Don’t move here
Former Tenant
Pros:
The block is quiet, it’s close to the train parks and a school
Cons:
The landlady does nothing. She makes the building seem ok at first then months into you moving in something will break down. She doesn’t like to fix anything, and whatever breaks down she will just blame you for it and require you to fix it. Then she will try to raise the rent on you out of nowhere. The heat doesn’t work properly the water pressure is horrible and when you make a complaint she will tamper with the boiler so you don’t have heat or hot water then claim she has someone fixing something but will never give you a notice. She has her family fix things once you use it it breaks down again and she will blame you. SHES NOT PROFESSIONAL ABD DOESBT HAVE PROFESSIONALS FIXING ANYTHING. She doesn’t take care of the garbage so when you put your garbage you better make sure none puts it out before you or you will pay the ticket.
Advice to owner:
STOP BEING A SLUMLORD. Fix up your building properly and maybe you won’t have so many violations. Stop being such a nasty person and maybe good things will come to you nobody wanted to buy this piece of crap and nobody wants to rent either all the tenants moved out! IF YOU KNEW BETTER YOU DO BETTER!
