Pros:
Absolutely nothing. Life has been hell living here over the last year. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.
Cons:
There is an ammonia like pungent smell in the apartment. I purchased an air quality monitor and the air quality levels are poor and toxic. I had to dispose of all of my belongings due to everything being contaminated. Landlord does not want to take responsibility or accountability regardless of the fact that I have been to the hospital 9 times in the last month from being sick. I am a healthy person and only visit the doctor for my annual physical. Landlord cares that you pay your rent on time but is extremely careless when it comes to the maintenance. Do not get me started on the neighbors. I have 14 people living above me in a three bedroom apartment. From sun up to sun down it sounds like there is a herd of elephants. The men beat their wives and you can hear everything through the wall. Crime in the neighborhood is horrific. There was a shooting twice last week literally next door. Don’t try calling the police for emergencies because they will take an hour and a half so if you are in trouble, you will be screwed by the time they arrive. There is definitely a mold problem in the building but management has painted all the walls grey to disguise it. I had mold in the bathroom
And the super literally scraped the surface and painted over it. They do not care about their tenants at all. Do yourself a favor and don’t move here. It is the absolute worst place you could ever move to.
Advice to owner:
Be accountable for the illegal things you are doing. This building has so many violations yet he claims to do everything to the letter of the law. Treat your tenants better especially if they pay their rent on time! Do better! I am so happy I am leaving Satan’s lair
