Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 305 Ocean Avenue emphasize its prime location near Prospect Park and convenient transit options, making it attractive for city access. Tenants appreciate friendly neighbors and a hardworking superintendent. However, persistent issues include poor cleanliness of common areas, ongoing pest problems (notably roaches and occasional rodents), and slow or unresponsive management. Many renters report dissatisfaction with maintenance delays, lack of building amenities like bike storage or secure package areas, and noisy surroundings due to proximity to busy intersections. While some recommend the building for location and affordability, overall management shortcomings and building upkeep remain key concerns for residents.

Good location, reasonable rate
Former Tenant
Pros:
Right by the park, right by the train and easy to get into the city. Flatbush is a delightful neighborhood and so is PLG. The super is great and friendly.
Cons:
Common areas in the building are not cleaned regularly. Definitely a cockroach problem.

Cons:
Hallways were very dirty, elevator was slow but not too bad. Right next to a major intersection.
