Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews for 89 Crooke Avenue in Brooklyn praise the building's rent-stabilized units offering value for money with spacious interiors and friendly neighbors. However, recurring pest issues like roaches and mice are a concern despite regular pest control efforts. The management receives mixed reviews, with some praising the cleanliness and responsiveness, while others mention difficulties in contacting them and noise disturbances from nearby trains. Overall, the building's location near the park and helpful super add to its appeal, but improvements in pest control and owner responsiveness are suggested.

Good value for the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
Unit was rent stabilized, giving me much more space than I could afford in a market rate apartment and no rent hikes. Super is out in the hallways cleaning every day. Neighbors are friendly and it is a very quiet residential neighborhood.
Cons:
Roach problem, they have a monthly pest control signup but it seems to be a building infestation
