Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant feedback for 75 East 21 Street, Brooklyn reflects serious management and maintenance challenges despite some positives like rent-stabilized spacious apartments and proximity to Prospect Park. Residents report pervasive pest problems including rats and cockroaches, poor cleanliness, frequent noise, and security concerns such as package theft and unlocked front doors. Heating systems vary widely in effectiveness, often accompanied by water outages or pressure issues. Management and owner responsiveness consistently fall short, leaving repair needs unaddressed and tenant issues unresolved. While the building offers size and location benefits, ongoing neglect and safety concerns detract significantly from the living experience.

Incredibly mismanaged dump
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, my particular unit had laundry and dishwasher and was rent stabilized, elevator
Cons:
Some neighbors smoke in the hallways constantly, there is a serious rat issue especially by the trash, recently we saw a rat in lobby, super is over-worked and underpaid, impossible to get a hold of management, cheap ass repairs that need to be re-repaired always, packages get stolen, the front door is always unlocked
Advice to owner:
get your shit together
