Not bad, not great
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Good size, affordable apartments - The super is pleasant and usually reachable - Major issues usually resolved within a few days
Cons:
- Always issues with heat and hot water. The past few years have been so bad. Last year I woke up to it being 55 degrees inside the apartment and management refuses to replace the boiler. Hot water sometimes shut off overnight - Trash rooms instead of a trash chute so garbage sits in the building. Terrible smell on hot days - Roach infestations, monthly exterminator doesn't do much - Constant water leaks in the building - Extremely poor sound insulation - Maintenance guy has an attitude
Advice to owner:
Find an actual solution to the boiler issue instead of putting a bandaid on it
