Decent place to live

Pros:
Building is clean and safe. Landlord is easily reachable. Good area. Exterminator available once a month.
Cons:
Garbage and laundry in same space, and you have to go outside and then use a key to get back inside to access that space. Only 2 laundry machines, which are old and coin operated. No on-site super. For a bit, had a problem with packages being stolen.

Pros:
It’s so quiet you can hear a pin drop, the neighbors are really lovely too. Building seems to be well-maintained in regards to cleanliness and trash management by the super. Bigggg spacious bedroom and true one-bedroom, bigger than some studios I have come across.

Cats allowed, no dogs except for one woman who has been grandfathered in to the building before the new landlord.
Cons:
Hardwood floors creak pretty badly depending on the area you step on, I find cockroaches often even with a monthly exterminator

Pros:
Great building! Upgraded appliances, kitchen and bathroom. Newly finished hardwood floors. Contacting property owner was easy and always answered in a very timely manner. Any issues were addressed immediately (clogged toilet, tub..etc). Rooms are very large with tall ceilings.
Cons:
No dishwashers in building/unit.
