Mice, bugs, mold, one problem after another.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Spacious rooms in most units, utilities included in rent
Cons:
Mice infestation, centipedes, ants and roaches. Pipe burst in ceiling resulting in water leakage over entire room. Window not sealed resulting in flooding during rain and bugs in summer. Management is extremely unresponsive and refused to properly repair even after months of requests, and simply paints over extensive mold and water damage to hide problems from prospective tenants. Bathroom floods periodically, toilet leaks from bottom, black gunk comes out of shower drain, and shower door and bathroom tiles falling off the wall. All necessary repairs are always ignored so long as rent is being paid. Management is rude and hostile, also refuses to enforce rules of rental agreement, allowing non-tenants to live in the units and problematic tenants to do as they please and disturb and even harass others. Units are revolving doors of new tenants, constant showings to prospective tenants with no notice to current tenants from management, roommates are not introduced prior to move-in. Building is not at all secure, entrances usually left unlocked and mail often stolen. Heat and AC units barely functional. Rooms are rented out individually and illegally for a much higher price than they are worth. Landlord is not present, management and super are not reliable or competent.
