Great building, really enjoyed living here overall
Pros
+ M/J/Z train less than 1 min walk away + Everything you'd want in a nice building: floor to ceiling windows; a real gym with a squat rack, benches, cardio equipment; rooftop, multiple outdoor terraces, event spaces, 24/7 doorman, super in building, etc. + Bedroom has built-in cabinets for clothes, so you don't need to buy extra furniture. + The water pressure in the shower is strong and the water gets hot immediately, as in within 1 second or so. I have no idea what kind of hot water heater they use but it's the best I've ever experienced. + Tons of reasonably priced internet options in the building + Package room is very efficient. It's one of those ones where you scan a QR code to pick up your package, and the doorman does a good job handling packages same-day so there's never any wait to get your stuff. + 1 block away from L'Industrie so you can easily go there on off-hours and avoid massive lines for a great slice of pizza.
Cons
- My unit feels airtight and doesn't allow any kind of moisture in from the outside. This is a good thing to some extent in case of outside air pollution, but I needed to buy a humidifier to make sure I was sleeping properly. - Window shades let a lot of light in. You might need a sleep mask if you have light sensitivity.
Advice to the owners
Maybe look at some tolerances for the units and see what could be causing the dry air, but I bet it's hard to fix at this point.
