Nice apartment in a good neighborhood but with a mice and roach problem
Pros
This apartment is close to so many great places and is on Tompkins near so many restaurants and bars. It is a great location if you want to hang out in Bed Stuy. The rooms are spacious and the apartment has been recently renovated.
Cons
There are mice and the landlord will not help you get rid of them. You have to have a cat live in the apartment or else the mice will come. There are also roaches and ants. If you leave any food out you will have an ant infestation. When things are broken it is very very challenging to get anyone to fix them the landlord is basically unresponsive. Or will say they will fix it and never do it. Another issue is that on occasion there are people addicted to drugs who hang out near the apartment. On many occasions there have been people screaming calling out for help at all hours of the night clearly on drugs that have woken me up at 3am in the morning.
Advice to the owners
Please be responsive with repairs.
