In the final 6 months of my nearly 4 years there, we started to notice small roaches at the entrance of the building, and then larger ones in the stairwells. Unclear whether it was coming from the restaurant tenant downstairs or what but I found it distressing. Eventually the problem lessened.
Rents also went up from ~$5k for a 3BD/3BA when we moved in in 2020 to over $7k in 2024.
