HORRIBLE Landlord and Poorly Kept Building

Pros:
Most of the building is one beautiful family of multiple generations. They are always super nice and helpful and make you feel welcome! It’s unfortunate they are getting taken advantage of by the owners/landlords
Cons:
ILLEGAL amount of smoke detectors/ purposefully making sure they don’t work.

Heat and water is VERY spotty and leaves the apartment under 60°

Obvious dead rodents in the walls because the entire hallway/ building has always smelled like Death.

Unlicensed workers hired for electrical, plumbing, extermination.

Landlord/ Owners (a husband and wife) live far away and are bad at responding and often doesn’t believe anything the renters say.
Advice to owner:
Quit and sell the building. You should not have people’s lives in your hand.
