Landlord seems senile, to put it kindly. Blamed us for things. Incompetent.
Pros
It's an old building, so you get high ceilings and can barely hear anything even on Fulton Street. Nice quiet street behind you, too.
Cons
If something went wrong, the landlord's process was to a. not respond for months, b. force you to complain to the city, c. yell at you through the phone, d. show up months later with her "nephew" to fix it, e. pretend to go get a part and never come back, f. respond to the complaint of another resident to it, g, forget you were the one who made the initial complaint and blame you for causing them harm, h. make you figure out how to fix it yourself, i. call you a "cunt," j. do work on the unit at 7 am on a saturday morning one year later
Advice to the owners
sell the building to someone who can deal with it
