Cheap, unique, fun place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
New ownership is friendly and amicable. Cheap, loft-style units. Amazing rooftop.
Cons:
Probably not legal bedrooms. Had a mice issue that was never really addressed. Building is outdated. It has zero insulation or adequate heating systems and gets extremely cold.
Advice to owner:
Building needs to be retrofitted with new windows, insulation, and heating systems, but that will obviously come at a cost to the building's tenants.

If you’re in your early 20’s this is fine.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Parties on the roof
Cons:
You can hear everything. The walls non existent. At one point this building was illegal and got pad locked.

Lived here for 10 years
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is nice and located in green point. The apartment is spacious and loft style.
Cons:
I lived on the first floor. The building shifted owners 4-5 times during my time living there. The building breaks a ton of code for residential living. The new owners are much more responsive than before. Previous management barely ever came to fix anything in the apartment. Through the 10 years I lived there, I have dealt with flooding through Sandy back in 2011 where my roomates and I were displaced for nearly 4 months. When we came back we then went through multiple bathroom/sewage flooding issues. In all those years the management was no where to be found. I think the newer management is a little more responsive, but the building has a lot of fixing it needs. Lots of trauma living in that building. But great rooftop views.
