Landlord is very responsive and has human decency. They did construction on our patio and we had basically no issues with this process; they were respectful of the fact that we had a cat. Left a bit of a mess by the door but it was ok. When the landlord came to our apartment prior to this he noticed that some of our lights weren’t working and proactively offered to have them/any outlets fixed. Kind man in our experience.
Cons:
Some damage to the tile in the lobby and one of the steps. Had to do a pretty big wipedown/sweep of lobby on original move in. Sometimes a roach turns up but if we keep the drains closed it’s usually fine. There were some mice hiding inside one winter but they seemed to dissipate and then we got a cat. Sometimes packages can’t be delivered if no one buzzes them in, but you can leave a note asking to have them delivered at the Deli downstairs until you can get them. There were some (mostly nice) individuals using drugs that would hang out in front of the door to the building which was a little awkward, but they don’t hang much anymore.
