Nice building but terrible management
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s spacious, with good lighting and neighbors in a lovely green neighborhood
Cons:
The management and super are terrible. The management would constantly ignore our requests for fixes in the building, and they also had illegally installed the washer/dryer and got fined (the washer started smoking at one point). The management and super also would only talk to the man that lived here and ignored and was dismissive of and rude to those presenting as women. Based on discussions with other tenants, it seems like they have a history of bad management and illegal conduct. They also increased the rent from $4000 to $5000 for a lease renewal, way over the inflation rate.
Advice to owner:
Stop using sketchy ways to make more money off of people. You can be honest and still make good money as a landlord. Also stop being misogynist
