Disrespectful and Horrible

Pros:
There are no pros to this apartment.
Cons:
There has just been one problem after another. My family and I were told if we could push back our move in date so that they can properly clean the apartment so we did. When we arrived with our things the entire apartment had not been clean the walls were freshly painted and the floors were freshly polished that’s all. Not to mention the walls and floors weren’t cleaned before those processes took place because there tape on the walls that has been painted over and theres staples on the floor that were polished over. We had no heat or hot water for the first month of living here. then the next month we had water but it wasn’t hot we were told the pipe froze over due to the cold but that shouldn’t have mattered because there should have been a plan in place when you’ve rented this apartment many times before. Then someone was sent to fix it and the pipe burst so we went back to having no water for the rest of the month until they can buy a new one. The pipe was replaced but now is when we find out we’ve been having a gas leak for the past 3 months coming from the stove. So we called the peoperty manager as we always due and she said told us to just call the fire department which we did they unplug the stove and called national grid which found out that we had gas leaking from 3 places. We called the property manager and she said she’ll order a new stove that same day hut didn’t. I kept ontop of her to find out when and she kept asking me go measure this and that then she texted me a week later at midnight while i’m sleeing to ask will this dimensions fit for me to go measure again when I had already sent her all the measurements she asked for. Then she proceeded to get mad cause I told her I have to work in the morning so stop texting me. Then I call her in the morning and she says she’s going to order it that night come to find out she still hasn’t ordered it I asked what was talking so long and she said well if you want a nicer stove then you have to wait. When the fact of the matter is she hadn’t even ordered it yet. So we waited a week and a half for a stove. Which means we had no were to cook so we had to order food everyday 3 times a day so I told her I will be saving my recites so that we can get credited that amount in our rent cause this is ridiculous every month there is an issue. Not to mention the ceiling fans were covered in layers and layers of dust. The baseboard heaters are covered in dirt blood and garbage and dust not wanted to come out at all. The windows in every room are black and don’t open all the way half of the outlets in the apartment don’t work. The kitchen counter is broken the cabinets are broken and covered in layers of grease dust mold and roach eggs. The deep freezer that was left her smells like chemicals so we unplugged it and leave it close we have no way of getting it downstairs. When I told the property manager I was sending over my receipts she told me it’s NYC gas leaks happen they are not responsible they want the full rent I responded we had it for the entire time we lived her since moving in which means if you had inspected this apartment none of these issues would be happen right now. She said oh I know for a fact you have a microwave so you were fine first of all I don’t have a microwave and how would you know when you’ve never been here. Not to mention the whole mice and roach problem she doesn’t believe we have them yet 311 came and saw it so obviously were not lying. This is not a place to live it is not live-able and the property manager doesn’t care cause she sent us a picture thinking it was our apartment to prove that she’s been here and she sent the downstairs apartment and guess what it is completely renovated with a new counter top and everything so why dis our apartment not get the same treatment. This is ridiculous if you took anything from this is to never live here.
Advice to owner:
To actually be invloved with the tenants don’t let your property manager do everything cause she doesn’t care. You shouldn’t only care about the tenants you personally know that’s not being a good landlord.
