Overpriced “luxury” in Bushwick
Pros
It’s in a pretty central location, so it’s very easy to walk to most places. There are also washer/dryers in the building, rooftop access, parking (if needed) and an elevator.
Cons
This building was poorly constructed. It’s promoted as if it’s a luxury building but honestly it’s just a place that hasn’t been updated since it was first built. Don’t move here if you have a disability - the elevator has issues at times and the management is not quick to do anything unless you pester them.
Advice to the owners
Stop trying to squeeze all this money out of tenants just because of how the market is.
Sketchy...with an elevator that never worked
Pros
- Full sized appliances that were new and worked well enough - Bedrooms had lots of light - Flat/no-step entry into the lobby
Cons
- The elevator was always, always, always out. I am a wheelchair user and chose the building because it was one of the few that were actually met ADA codes....in theory. However, the elevator would go out for weeks at a time and I would be unable to independently come and go from my home. - Landlords tried to scam us out of our deposit at move-out - At one point our shower was making it rain in our downstairs neighbors place. - Our unit was originally intended as a 2 bedroom, but they split the living room in half to turn it into a 4 bedroom, so the walls were paper thin.
Advice to the owners
Renter beware...scary ghost-corporation owned that is just there to make a profit.
