Pros:
Good location, directly above DeKalb stop on the L, near plenty of restaurants, bars, etc. Some shoddy construction. Lawsuit with developer. (Expiring) tax abatement but steady stream of assessments. Building management company is ok. Super is solid.
Cons:
Junkies outside the door. Sometimes a person might get shot in the face in front of your building, or run over and killed by a truck while crossing the street right next to your building. Or a local yokel might sneak into your building and break into the storage unit and steal a bunch of shit and then come back again and punch a woman in the face when she confronts him for being in the building. Also: Southeast corner of DeKalb & Wyckoff is a sidewalk urination hot spot.
Advice to owner:
He died. So he took my advice.
