Poor sound proofing
Pros
Building is brand new and very clean, no pests yet. On a very quiet street so I almost never hear any noise from outside the building. Issues are fixed fairly quickly.
Cons
The hallway doors are thin as paper and have huge gaps under them. Unfortunately that means you can not only hear everything going on in the adjacent units as if it were in your own, but you can also hear what your neighbors at the complete opposite end of the hall are doing as well. There is a sense of zero privacy as it feels like you are living without a front door. Tiny apartments and essentially zero building amenities though the rent is just as high as other nearby amenity buildings.
Advice to the owners
Do something about the hallway doors please. I don't want to hear my neighbor farting from my unit.
