Great Apartments, So Loud
Former Tenant
Pros:
The units themselves are spacious, well laid out and comfortable. There is tons of natural light in the apartment and plenty of AC/Heaters for the size of the space. The ownership changed within the last year but they seem responsive and reasonable. Pest control comes and sprays regularly and we’ve never had issues with pests.
Cons:
If you live in the units facing Menahan, you will never sleep or enjoy a nice day with the window open again. It’s the loudest place I’ve ever lived, by far. They were shooting fireworks off from the sidewalk below the apartment just yesterday. Right now there is the guy outside doing his daily wheelies on a dirt bike without a muffler. There are huge street parties every evening during nice weather. When it comes to COVID, no one, including the property manager who I see around the building, wears a mask- even in the elevator. I wish I could transport this apartment to a quieter block because otherwise it’s excellent.
Advice to owner:
You need to back off on the rental cost to convince people to stay despite the noise. It’s not worth the price for this block.

Great first impressions
Former Tenant
Pros:
I’ve been in this apartment for only a month so far and it’s quiet, the unit is wonderful, and management is very responsive.
Cons:
Have encountered a handful of roaches since the unit was vacant for so long. Management has been diligent to spray and help where they can. But it has been the only downside so far.
