Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 494 Sheffield Avenue reveal a mixed living experience. The building benefits from a convenient location near multiple subway lines and supermarkets, with amenities like laundry and community spaces appreciated. Some tenants praise the quiet atmosphere and helpful owner responsiveness. However, issues with cleanliness, pest control (notably roaches), garbage management, and occasional noise disturbances persist. Package theft and neighborhood safety concerns were also mentioned. Residents suggest improving cleaning efforts beyond the lobby and enhancing pest management. While some tenants recommend the building and approve of the owner, others express dissatisfaction, urging management to address maintenance and responsiveness more effectively.
