Was nice…for about the first year…
Pros
Roof space (though communal furniture on roof is beyond repair and cannot be utilized), balconies, initial contemporary design
Cons
Update: elevator is frequently not working. It’s been out of order 3 times in one month (July 2026). This most recent time there has been no response or communication from management. Management blames the elevator repair company and takes no responsibility. Amenities that never worked (gas grill on roof, TVs throughout building, etc.), disappearing amenities (furnished lobby, common work area, indoor bike room, package room…all gone. What’s next?), slow or no response time for repair requests, incomplete repairs, little to no communication from landlord, recent fire on roof with no communication to tenants. Elevator breaks down all too frequently and management is always slow to repair it.
Advice to the owners
Communicate with your tenants: alert them to upcoming construction noise, changes to amenities, loss of common space Compensate tenants for loss of amenities or amenities that have never worked Be honest and transparent Take pride in your property and maintain it
One of the better 'gentrifier fishbowls'
Pros
Clean, well taken care of, responsive landlords with very quick scheduling for urgent repairs (ie our fridge broke and they got someone within a few hours). Great location. Walls are thin within apartments but we never had a problem with neihbors.
Cons
Raised our rent by $700 one year to the next. This was from 2021-2022 when people started moving back to the city after COVID. We negotiated it down a bit because we had been longstanding tenants who always paid on time, but like, damn, that's a LOT. The elevator is usually out a couple of days every few months, which seems minimal but we lived on the 8th floor and it would get annoying.
