Something’s broken? Don’t expect it fixed.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful kitchen, great view of downtown manhattan. Floor to ceiling windows
Cons:
Unresponsive when it comes to maintenance (Our dishwasher has been broken for 2+ years and after filing so many tickets, they never came to fix it). The noise pollution is crazy bc it’s off the belt parkway
Advice to owner:
Be better at keeping up with maitence stuff.

Awesome building not so awesome landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful building New appliances Huge windows Great view
Cons:
The landlord was the worst to deal with. Just doesn’t care about tenants at all, also doesn’t seem like he cares about the building as well. All apartments have leaking windows- been here for 2 years and every time it rains it also rains inside the apartment. Just not a pleasant person to deal with. Also didn’t care that a global pandemic was going on- called every month demanding rent, continued charging late fees! Super is great though!
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants like humans, not just a paycheck.

Nice and Modern but....
Former Tenant
Pros:
I lived here a little over 2 years. Great location and up to date apartment. The rooftop is very nice especially when you have company and want to enjoy a nice glass of wine.
Cons:
I never received my deposit upon move out and had to take legal action. I eventually got it. There were also issues with the tankless water heaters that caused me to go without hot water for short periods of time.
Advice to owner:
Return deposits in a timely manner! Not months later! People depend on that money.
