Lived here for three years, it was good enough

Pros:
Relatively new, air conditioned, laundry in-unit.
Cons:
The "landlord special" fixtures became grimy quickly, packages were stolen often, the landlords weren't very responsive.

Mold and Gunk in Water

Pros:
This place is nice, I guess. We haven't had any problems with pests or rodents, and the trash is really well managed, and all of the neighbors are quiet.
Cons:
So, HUGE con is that there is mold and gunk that comes out of the sinks and is in the water. Every faucet. Even the shower. I once almost drank it because I didn't look in my glass and spit it out. We asked for the city/landlord to look into it, who's sent someone who said its "unfortunate but harmless" - I'm talking huge chunks of black, stringy mold. Be prepared to buy bottled water. (There's also mold coming out of the fire sprinklers in the ceiling.)
Advice to owner:
Clean out your pipes or do whatever you have to do to stop having chunks of black gunk and mold falling out of every faucet.
