Pros and cons
Former Tenant
Pros:
Package management was generally good, the super was responsive to maintenance issues, nice to have someone onsite with a spare key, garbage management was great, and the building was nice and well maintained. Big windows and blinds were awesome and the finishes were nice.
Cons:
Doormen were constantly rotating, the pool was filthy, and the management was not proactive in communications. New ownership was trying to cut costs despite it being sold as a top of the line amenity building. Gym never opened during COVID, and grills were hard to get during the summer due to large groups gathering and monopolizing. Had a neighbor that was trying to become a DJ (without headphones) and played pretty horrible music until 1am in the morning.
Advice to owner:
People are paying for premium amenities and those should be provided. Communication from management should be far more proactive rather than reactive, especially during a pandemic.
