Cons
Major issues with heat, hot water, appliances, mold. The say the super lives in the building, he does not. He rarely responds to calls or texts. I have never seen him in the building The janitor is around everyday and is rude and aggressive to tenants. The owner doesn’t like to be bothered. They do not disclose the name, email or phone number of any management company. This property owner will do the bare minimum.
Advice to the owners
Take your tenant’s complaints seriously.

Our apartment had walls and running water

We moved in during the fall and had no heat or hot water for days, due to management not setting up the heater correctly. Our apartment had several finishing issues that we unfortunately only noticed after we were moved in. The outside of our apartment window was filthy and management refused to clean it. During the summer, we could NOT sleep with our windows open, as 18 wheelers & vehicles on Coney Island Ave. would wake us up at night. Dealing with management was useless, they are responsive and kind during the lease setup process, but go mostly MIA afterwards
