Good building but too expensive.

A mixed bag
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to the train and some good restaurants. Super is very kind and extremely helpful.
Cons:
Locks on the front door tended to break. No security cameras, and if they were installed they weren’t running. Elevator is extremely slow. Neighbors in the building are a mixed bag - some are nice but a few have been there for decades and will throw their weight around if they don’t like you. If your apartment faces 41st st there used to be a woman who stood on the balcony of her building and screech Broadway songs into the night. If your apartment faces Queens Blvd, Arriba Arriba blasts music into the night - seemingly even when business is slow.

It is fine
Former Tenant
Pros:
Size, price, location, safe, food, subway, sunlight
Cons:
Cockroaches, hear everything from outside and next door, front door always open, door open mechanism doesn’t make a sound
Advice to owner:
Renovate. Make it newer
