Worst landlord and building management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Proximity to train
Cons:
Most unprofessional and adolescent building owner and property manager. They never respond or fix any of the issues at the building. Try to blame and intimidate you.
We had the septic flood in the apt 3 times due to the building septic.
No hot water or water pressure for 2 months
Porter purposely would spill water into our apt as per building manager. Would bang on apt door and take off to harass my wife. He would also pike up the garbage bags in front of our window and second entrance.
Advice to owner:
Do not rent from Matthew Schwartz!!
I have lived on my own for 22 years. Never stayed in one apt more than a year, due to school and or work, and never ever did I have an issue with one other landlord. No mater what state city or type of rental. This is a true slumlord who prays on illegal immigrants and those who are unaware of tenant rights.

After I left the apartment they even went as far as to call my job and trash talk me trying to get me fired. All because I would not let them get away with not doing there jobs and hence causing them to pay fines.
