Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 31-43 Vernon Boulevard highlight a mix of experiences. Tenants appreciate spacious units with good water pressure and in-unit laundry, as well as amenities like a rooftop deck and a gym (though sometimes with extra fees). However, many express frustration with management's responsiveness, poor communication, and service cuts, such as firing doormen and cancelling building Wi-Fi abruptly. Noise and construction disruptions, neighbors' behavior, and distant public transit access are common drawbacks. Garbage management and cleanliness vary widely across reviews. Overall, renters point to potential benefits but urge significant improvements in management and building services to enhance livability.

Run, don't walk away
Former Tenant
Pros:
There is a rooftop deck, although it is a bit small. If you have a car, street parking is not as bad as some other places It is convenient to have a gym in the building, although you have to pay extra for it.
Cons:
If you rely on public transportation, the train is FAR. Walking over a mile, especially when it is very cold or hot out, is a nightmare. The ferry is closer, and a nice ride. But it doesn't run as frequently (and not late at night). And the terminal is also outside of the project buildings.
There is a front desk, but no doorman. So although there is a room for packages, they still get stolen.
The pictures of the units are old. There is now a building going up, blocking your entire window. And the construction noise is constant.
The realtors lied about various things during the onboarding process, and the landlord wasn't much better, once you sign the lease.
Advice to owner:
stop being an a-hole
