Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Reviews for 42-15 Crescent Street, Queens highlight the building's cleanliness, pest control, and helpful doormen and maintenance staff as significant positives. Residents enjoy its convenient location and quiet ambiance, with in-unit washers/dryers noted as a perk. However, issues include occasional loud HVAC units, some blocked sunlight due to neighboring structures, and clunky elevators. While some tenants praise timely owner responsiveness, others criticize management’s lack of communication and inadequate handling of maintenance problems like flooring defects. Noise from nearby dog runs and construction has been disruptive for some. Prospective renters should weigh the well-maintained environment against management concerns for a balanced decision.

Solid and Convenient
Former Tenant
Pros:
Well run. Nice view (though slowly getting blocked by LIC development). Great on pests and cleaning.
Cons:
HVACs were a bit annoying. Elevators could be clunky.

Quiet if not facing dog run (Review of Luna LIC building)
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, new, quiet area, and lots of good food to order from Astoria. Plus washer dryer in unit!
Cons:
You get to control the heat/ac unit but it was so loud sometimes it woke me up in the middle of the night. The newer Bevel building next door has a dog run where the barks would reverberate up between the buildings (I lived on 7th floor).
Advice to owner:
Would live here again but not facing dog run nor subway.
