Nice apartment, but lots of noise
Pros
Nice sized kitchen with separate small dining area, split bedroom layout, great sunlight in both bedrooms. Gorgeous tree-lined block. Apartment itself was nice and house was nicely maintained for the most part.
Cons
Heat riser pipe in one bedroom had incredibly loud water hammer that landlord was negligent in repairing. Owner hired plumber who claimed it was just the old boiler and did not take any further action. Caused extremely loud and disturbing noise all night all winter and early spring. I hope this was fixed for the new tenants after we moved out. Owners family constantly yelling/pounding/arguing upstairs.
