Super nice landlord, close to multiple subways, grocery stores, washer and dryer in unit! Pest control comes in once per month in the summer to spray so we rarely get bugs. Only saw a rodent maybe twice in 5 years. Downstairs front neighbors have their three cats out and about in the halls which probably aids in pest control (although wouldn't be good for anyone with severe cat allergies)
Cons:
Small apartment, little-to-no closet space for a three bedroom (only one room has a real closet, no shared closet in main shared space). LOUD neighbors. Hacking cough upstairs that can be heard at all hours of the day/night, always sounds like bowling/moving furniture at 4am, screaming/fighting downstairs that can be heard all night. Landlord is so sweet but a few times has said will get something fixed and doesn't. Water gets SO hot. Was told it was 1 degree off from being illegal. Heat can be a bit unbearable during the winter. We typically sleep with windows open or cracked because the apartment gets so hot and we can't control the pipes.
Advice to owner:
The downstairs rear unit tenant has got to go :/
