Subpar Landlord & Greedy, Dishonest Son as Property Manager
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good Only as Temporary Housing
Cons:
Landlord very reluctant to properly maintain home and asks many favors but tries to throw the ball back at you when you are in reasonable need.
Landlord's son who is acting as a property manager lacks people skills, sees tenants as cash cows, and is dishonest. Asks favors but always expects something in return when seldom asked a simple favor.
Advice to owner:
Do not let family manage your own assets or govern your own economic affairs, they may get you into legal issues that you do not expect and may leave you biased against tenants.
