Review Summary for 34-20 32 Street
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 34-20 32 Street highlight a mix of positives and concerns. Tenants appreciate the building's convenient location near transit and amenities, updated laundry facilities, pest control, and friendly neighbors. Spacious units with ample storage and a helpful superintendent are noted benefits. However, many renters report inconsistent heating and maintenance issues, including poor owner responsiveness, noise disturbances due to thin insulation, and occasional package theft. Public areas and older apartments sometimes require better upkeep. Overall, while the building offers appealing features and a good community atmosphere, improvements in heat reliability, noise insulation, and management responsiveness would enhance resident satisfaction.

Pray that you have quiet neighbors
Former Tenant
Pros:
We loved this place initially: renovated kitchen, sunny, great location.
Cons:
The noise levels were fine, until our nice, quiet upstairs neighbors moved out. You can hear everything. Word for word conversations, every cough, every drawer opening, every microwave beep. Every step they take sounds like an elephant above our heads.
We tried everything from trying to get property management involved (they'll just send them an email) to speaking with them ourselves. A nice renovated apartment is not worth the sanity you lose. There is a pretty steady turnover rate of people moving out and we understand why now.
Advice to owner:
Make the investment in insulation next time.
