Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 32-85 33 Street, Queens, NY 11106 highlight mixed experiences. Positive aspects include mostly nice neighbors, renovated laundry room, and storage lockers. However, concerns revolve around the lack of a superintendent for a year, noisy surroundings at night, and a demanding superintendent who monitors residents closely. Suggestions include hiring a new super, encouraging a nicer demeanor from building staff, and addressing cleanliness issues promptly. While the location is praised, the building's maintenance and management responsiveness are areas that require attention to enhance tenant satisfaction and overall living experience.

Could be worse
Former Tenant
Pros:
Mostly nice, quiet neighbors in the building. Newly renovated laundry room and they put in storage lockers in the basement (hurray!).
Cons:
New management hasn't moved in a super even after a year, so no super to watch over the building, buzz you in if you're locked out, the day to day stuff. Foot and car traffic is loud at night, especially if your apt faces the street.
Advice to owner:
Please move in a new super!

Building is nice, super is noisy
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is well maintained and neighbors are nice
Cons:
Super is really rude and is watching you through cameras and call you to complain about little things. I’ve never had anyone personally calling me to tell me that I threw one thing in the recycling that is not recyclable. I recycle but it feels really weird that she checks who threw what. And then she calls you, not in a polite way but like she is a scolding parent or something.
Advice to owner:
Tell the super to be nicer
