Nice apartments, horrible landlord
Pros
Nice clean apartment, rent stabilized
Cons
Heat is terrible, barely get any even in dead of winter and you're literally told to deal with it. The landlord has real psychological issues, imagines things and takes them personally, which leads to her treating you with absolute disrespect, including vulgarity, trying to force entry into your apartment, spying on you, trampling tenant protection laws, talking badly about you & smearing your character to other tenants. She doesn't keep up with NY building law concerning tenant rights (will tell you to your face that she doesn't give a *hit too), and will at some point trample your rights. She'll imagine you're secretly running an Airbnb out of your apartment or secretly moving people in or you're up to some sort of criminal activity in the apartment based off of a newspaper article she read, and do all manner of crazy and illegal things to try and "catch" you. I found out the majority of people who have lived here have broken their leases early, just to get away from her and her family. Others have had to be talked out of filing lawsuits against her. That's the other thing is her family will try to manipulate you to just let her get away with her behavior. It seems they really hate it when you try to stand up for yourself and can get aggressive. Most of the apartments remain empty for years, ask yourself why. Absolutely not worth the relatively low rent for the absolute madness that occurs here, mostly because of her.
