Pretty Solid Place
Pros
VERY spacious apartment, great balcony, amazing natural light, more quiet than other places because there's a school across the street, landlord is very responsive but could be better about handling issues properly the first time if they're not straightforward (I had yellow jackets in the wall and he tried to do a quick fix before calling someone), close to the subway (~6-7 minute walk) but far enough away where there's not the high amount of foot traffic outside the building, 10-12 minute walk to Steinway street and if you need to get further across town the Q18 is nearby, full kitchen with a dishwasher, separate dining area next to huge living room, ton of closet space in the foyer and in both rooms which can fit a queen sized bed minimum plus other furniture. Utilities also included. 20 ish minute train to manhattan No place will be perfect, but this has genuinely been an overall great place to live the last few years
Cons
If you work from home you will hear the kids during recess when it's nice outside (although I honestly stopped hearing them within a week), they ask for rent with checks, they don't vacuum/clean the stairway ever (surprisingly it's not that bad despite this), the bathroom gets very hot when the heat is on which is nice in the winter but doesn't ventilate much so if you take hot showers it would help to crack the door, the current downstairs neighbor sucks in the sense that he will bang on the ceiling if you even accidentally drop something and it's late, sadly no animals allowed
