Landlords suck and the apartments are in poor condition
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location
Lose to train
24 hour deli across street
Cons:
Landlord will stand outside your bedroom every week at least twice a week as they do trash, bad mouthing you if you make a mistake
Landlord is unresponsive to major issues (i.e no water, power, pests)
Landlord is aggressive
Apartment has lots of pest issues
Street parking is difficult nearby
Bar across street is noisy on weekends
Power goes out randomly, with no reason why
Heating is controlled in one persons unit for entire building
Fuse panels are all in basement where someone else lives
Landlords paint over everything, including fire alarms
