do NOT move here.
Former Tenant
Pros:
apartments are large and spacious. nice area.
Cons:
elevator is CONSTANTLY out, with no word from the super whatsoever. so called free pest removal but whenever you write your name down no one shows. just awful management.

Fairly enjoyable
Former Tenant
Pros:
My neighbors are the best part of this building.
Cons:
The laundry units are often out of order. The neighborhood isn’t super safe, someone was murdered two blocks from us last year, and packages get stolen often.
Advice to owner:
You have the footage of packages get stolen and, despite what you’ve told residents, you DON’T need a police report to review the footage you own. Take care of your residents and they’ll feel more safe.

Decent living on a budget
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet! And awesome architecture.
Cons:
Pests galore. Rats and millipede invasion in my apartment for 5+ months and management did nothing about it.
Advice to owner:
Clean up dude.

Beautiful Property and Grounds but beware pests!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good noise insulation Beautiful garden style building Large apartments
Cons:
Dirty basement and laundry room Pests in apartment that aren’t solved by any spraying - Left after many years due to a shocking millipede infestation Rude and aggressive super

Great Building But Paper Thin Floors
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean and spacious building, very close to the subway. Laundry in the basement. Great super.
Cons:
Paper thin floors and walls - you can hear neighbors walking, talking and dropping stuff on the floor at all hours. The lease requires floors to be covered with rugs but tenants don’t do this. Management took zero action despite numerous complaints.
Advice to owner:
Start responding to your tenants’ complaints.

Mice and Noise!
Former Tenant
Pros:
2 very responsive supers. Lobby and elevator kept clean. Decent parking options.
Cons:
Mice!! I’ve lived in Queens for the past 7 years and have never had a mouse problem before this place. 2 in two months! Pest control does come every other week which is helpful, but it’s usually on Wednesday’s during the middle of the work day. I’ve also had extensive plumbing issues that required multiple visits by the super and then finally by professional plumbers. Both issues, bathroom and kitchen required me to move out temporarily. Office management is unresponsive as well. LOUD street. Try not to rent on the 1st or 2nd floor.
Advice to owner:
Return tenant phone calls and require supers to take issues seriously. It saves you time and money and creates tenants who will likely renew their leases.

Spacious apartments yield millipedes and mice
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartments are very spacious (and what i miss the most). Lobby of building is kept clean. Residents in building are nice, a lot of lovely families! Security deposit returned in full (we took good care of the apartment).
Cons:
Super is slow to make repairs, i would have to ask repeatedly for issues to be addressed. There was also an issue where packages were being stolen from the building lobby and when I tried to speak to management about it, they blamed it on the mail carriers.... There was a relentless millipede infestation that started last spring / summer that was f**king awful. They also developed quite a mouse problem which ultimately drove me to leave that building after living there for almost 5 years.
Advice to owner:
Listen to tenants and address rodent issues in a more effective way. Obviously there’s a rodent problem endemic to the building that can’t be solved piecemeal with a few exterminator visits.
