Quiet Building in Kew Gardens
Former Tenant
Pros:
Place is very clean
Cons:
Owners are rude sometimes

Great First Renting Experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Overall very clean. Never saw a live roach or rodent ever. President of Co-op is really on top of things. Strict rules for garbage disposal and recycling. Shared laundry and elevator.
Cons:
Residents not the friendliest, and neither is President of Co-op if you get on his bad side. He is very strict and watches the cameras regularly. He posts passive aggressive notes throughout building and at your apartment door if you do *anything* that he doesn’t like (ie: letting the door slam even once, being slightly loud even once, having partner stay over too often especially if he doesn’t like them… the list goes on and on). Negative atmosphere throughout building.
Advice to owner:
You are doing a great job with keeping the building clean. Just maybe smile more and relax a little.

What I didn’t know...
Former Tenant
Pros:
Right on Austin, close to stores, residential area despite bar next door
Cons:
Update: roach infestation in entire building. Do not move in. Very creaky wooden floors (old infastructure) small laundry room with just three washers and dryers, outdated decor, next door to a noisy bar and LIRR, constant inconvenient construction and repairs, landlords rude to visitors, too many board rules, always replacing the super and management company, thin walls
Advice to owner:
Sell it while you can still earn a profit

Pros:

Cons:
Low water pressure
