Do Not Live Here
Former Tenant
Pros:
The 3 doorman’s that they have are really great. Parking garage.
Cons:
Super of the building does nothing. Especially winter time when there is snow. He takes vacation then. Leaves ONE porter to do everything. Constant noise and construction in building by tenants who don’t have a permit and do not abide by the 8-5 rule. Pests. No matter what you say or do, the managers of the building don’t do anything and only offer a pest control spray once a month. The heating is horrible in this building. Seems like the owners do not want any expenses by running the boiler for too long. Causing everyone in the building to be cold, especially on the top floors where they barely get any heat. They have a “board” of people here. At this point, that’s just a title for a group of people who do nothing. The super does no work for your apartment. Wether you rent or buy. He always says “he can’t touch this” “I can’t fix it”. What do we have a super for? The one porter does more than the super. Elevator has problems going on for 6 years now. At least a handful of times a day someone is stuck in the elevator.
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants as human beings and not as money signs.
