Clean apartment with some issues

Pros

Spacious apartment, good closet space, peaceful location

Cons

Heat was too high in the winter and could not be lowered even after multiple maintenance requests. Problems with neighbors smoking. You can hear babies and dogs passing by your door because there is a gap at the bottom of the door. Leasing team is extremely difficult to reach and get answers from. High fees mean you pay more than you expect

Prime Location you will wait for the elevators

Pros

Everything in this area is expensive because you are paying for the location so I won't dock the price here. You are right outside grand central in a quiet part of Queens with a stunning view of the skyline. This building itself is honestly fine. The staff and maintenance team are excellent. If there is something wrong in your apartment they will be right over. The roof is pretty great. Super dog friendly.

Cons

The elevators are a complete mess. The standard is 2/5 are out at all times so expect to wait. The perk of living on a floor below 5 is you can zip right past everyone waiting on line in the lobby. They will jack your rent up and do you no favors up returning.

Advice to the owners

Rent renewal should be better to returning tenants. Actually fix the elevators.
