Avoid the 10th Floor – Unbearable Noise, Sky-High Bills, and Possibly Dangerous Living Conditions ******************************* Living on the 10th floor of this building has been a waking nightmare. If you’re considering one of the available apartments on this floor — don’t. You’re not just renting a unit. You’re signing up for a life of constant noise, stress, and daily inconveniences that wear you down physically and mentally. There is one tenant on this floor whose behavior is deeply erratic and distressing — loud stomping, violent banging, and aggressive shouting at all hours. This isn’t occasional noise. It’s relentless and, at times, feels unsettling and possibly dangerous. I’ve genuinely feared for my safety. Despite repeated complaints to management and 311, nothing has been done. To make things worse, the building’s infrastructure is equally exhausting. There are only two elevators for 20 floors, and when one broke down in February, it wasn’t repaired for over a month — forcing residents to wait endlessly or walk multiple floors. The insulation is also terrible, making winters brutal and electricity bills shockingly high just to stay warm. Bottom line: If you’re even remotely considering an apartment on the 10th floor, proceed with extreme caution. The environment here is not just uncomfortable — it feels unsafe.
