Beware of roaches

Great doormen - the best part about this building. Large laundry room but gets hot in there. Quiet if you live on the side facing 15th street.
Cons
Beware of roaches. Problem on 3rd floor and other floors. Free weekly exterminator service but it did nothing. Worse in the summer but you’ll see at least one every few days or couple weeks. Issue stems from unhygienic neighbors and disgusting trash room. Management rarely does anything more than the usual exterminator service. Told “it’s New York!” when I reported it’s an ongoing problem. A new tenant left broke their lease only after two months due to this. Additionally, AC is not strong at all. All in all, not worth the high rent cost.
Advice to the owners
Be more proactive about listening to tenant’s complaints and do something about it that will make a difference.
