Well managed old building in UES

Pros

Responsive management for repairs. Some trouble with hot water heater by typically fixed within 24 hours of notice. Super soundproof units, could never hear my neighbors. Security deposit was timely returned and included interest payments (about 4 bucks but still not all nyc landlords even follow this law).

Cons

Walk up building, trash alley was a bit gross and basement laundry could’ve been cleaner.

Better maintenance of laundry room.
