No hot water 6 days —no responsibility

I love the doormen and neighbors as well as the neighborhood itself
Cons
Management repeatedly failed to address the lack of hot water. They told me it was a “preference” and that most people like lukewarm water, but under NYC law landlords must provide hot water at a minimum of 120 °F at all times. I ultimately had to call 311 before the issue was fixed. Management ignored my requests for a rent credit for the days without hot water. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this property and would not live here again.
Advice to the owners
(1) give credit for days you don’t provide hot water or risk losing good tenants; (2) take responsibility
