Nice apartments, awful management
Pros
The apartments are spacious with great views and amenities. It is very comfortable
Cons
Management is among the worst I’ve experienced when it comes to responsiveness about inquiries, lease renewals, and maintenance. They are also charging way too much for electricity using a system that does not accurately charge for usage and there is an ongoing court case to stop their submetering efforts because it is believed to be illegal

Affordable, ample laundry, and Roosevelt Island is generally great
Cons
Stained carpeting everywhere, bathroom would get moldy, and so so so many roaches
