Negligent landlord

Pros

Not too far away from the train station. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Cons

Landlord does not respond to emails or phone calls. Stove does not work, been trying to get a new one for the past 3 years, strong gas smell if I try to use it. Refrigerator is old, freezer has its days where it doesn’t properly work. Emailed landlord in regards to a new fridge as well, no response. Trying to get in contact with the “live in” super is pointless. He sometimes respond. If you want anything fixed in your apartment you have to be super annoying and continually call or message the super. Front door entrance wouldn’t allow tenants to enter the building, even with a key. Took 3 days for the super to fix. Intercom is constantly having issues, took 2 weeks for the super to fix. Packages gets stolen inside the building, and there’s no cameras which is very unsafe!

Advice to the owners

Please be consistent. Many of the tenants in this building are complaining about the lack of communication. I am not the only tenant with stove and fridge problems, many of us aren’t able to use our stove/oven! Phone is not working whenever I call, no one ever answers, please fix this.
